Student Experience Assessment Guide

Students have big, clear plans for their lives, and most do what they’re asked in school—but are still not ready to succeed in college and career after high school. We can change this outcome for our students. But first we need to ask them about their day-to-day school experiences in the classroom, school, and system.

This resource contains tools for collecting data on student experiences in four areas: assignments, instruction, engagement, and teacher expectations. Use this guide to investigate and assess the quality of your students’ academic experiences and make informed decisions to improve instruction for every student, every day.
