Student Achievement Partners: Materials Adaptation Project

All teachers should have access to high-quality instructional materials. Even when districts have adopted materials that do not fully meet the demands of grade-level standards, those materials can often be modified to give students better opportunities to work with grade-appropriate content across the course of the school year.

To help teachers make those modifications, Student Achievement Partners has provided targeted guidance for several commonly-used textbooks through the Materials Adaptation Project. If you are expected to use lower-rated instructional materials, use this resource to give your students greater access to grade-appropriate assignments.
