TNTP Re-imagine Teaching

Our Leadership

Meet TNTP's leadership team: 20 people who shape the organization's goals, services and strategy.

Victoria Van Cleef

VP, Client Team

Victoria Van Cleef oversees a diverse portfolio of client work, including TNTP’s efforts to train outstanding school leaders and develop strong school cultures. This includes supporting schools and districts to develop leadership pathways, coaching school leaders on developing and retaining their irreplaceable teachers, strengthening instructional culture, and making critical hiring, tenure, retention and promotion decisions.

Previously, Victoria served as TNTP’s Vice President of Staffing Initiatives, focusing on staffing chronically low-performing schools with top teacher talent, and as Vice President of Business Development & Communications, establishing partnerships with school districts and state departments of education and managing TNTP’s marketing strategy.

Prior to joining TNTP, Victoria served as a consultant to the Stupski Foundation, identifying best practices to support whole-district reform efforts, and as Senior Research Associate and Special Assistant to the Dean of New York University's Steinhardt School of Education, where she coordinated projects devoted to strengthening the teacher force in high-need schools and districts. She served as Special Assistant to the Chancellor for the New York City Public Schools under two administrations, working on both instructional and operational initiatives. Victoria also worked in curriculum and product development for The Efficacy Institute.

Victoria holds a BA in Classical Civilizations from UCLA and an MA in Public Policy Analysis from New York University's Wagner School of Public Service.
