Sarah Lynch
VP, Futures Design and Innovation
As Vice President of Futures Design and Innovation, Sarah Lynch leads TNTP’s national strategy for imagining and operationalizing the future of teaching and learning. Sarah develops the frameworks and implementation supports that bring coherence to complex systems and strengthen the work of TNTP’s client-facing teams.
With 20 years of experience as an education leader, social worker, teacher, and systems strategist, Sarah has grounded their career in education’s power to expand social and economic mobility and improve outcomes for underserved communities. Sarah brings a strong focus on innovation and community impact to her role in shaping TNTP’s futures design and innovation agenda.
Previously, Sarah served as Chief of Schools and Chief Talent Officer at Rocky Mountain Prep, guiding pandemic‑era shifts, launching a virtual academy, and doubling BIPOC+ representation in school leadership. During their time at TNTP, Sarah has expanded the organization’s footprint in Colorado, leading instructional transformation, superintendent transition planning, district and school coherence efforts, and innovation with charter schools serving alternative education students. Their work is defined by building coalitions rooted in shared purpose and centering the lived experiences of educators, families, and students.
Prior to joining TNTP, Sarah taught in North Philadelphia and led high-performing schools in Newark and Boston, earning recognition, including the Frederick Douglass Award for cultural and academic excellence.
Sarah holds graduate degrees in Education from Saint Joseph’s University and Clinical Social Work from Simmons University.
