Kelly Wright

VP, People

As Vice President of People, Kelly Wright oversees TNTP’s comprehensive workforce, talent, and organizational culture strategy—ensuring the systems, structures, and conditions necessary for a thriving, equitable, and high-performing workplace. She leads the development and implementation of TNTP’s holistic employee value proposition, data-driven talent metrics, and people-centered practices.

With more than 20 years of deep commitment to TNTP’s mission and a proven track record of leading organization-wide talent and culture strategy, Kelly has played a central role in building and shaping the systems, structures, and leadership practices needed to support impact at scale.

Prior to this role, Kelly served as a Managing Partner and a Partner of Workforce and Talent, in which she established and scaled TNTP’s Workforce team from the ground up, led the organization through its largest period of staff growth, and implemented data-driven systems. Under her leadership, TNTP achieved its most diverse cohorts of new hires and successfully implemented enterprise platforms to support our distributed workforce.

Previously, as a Partner and a Senior Advisor of Strategy and Operations, Kelly co-founded TNTP’s internal consulting team and developed foundational systems for onboarding, staffing, knowledge management, and professional development.

Kelly began her career in education as a High School Biology teacher in Helena, Arkansas. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Illinois Wesleyan University and is a Senior Certified Professional (SCP) with the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM). She is also an active community volunteer, having served as a Guardian Ad Litem (National CASA/GAL) and with the Asheville Humane Society, ASPCA, and Big Brothers Big Sisters.
