Jomar McDonald

VP, Technology

As Vice President of Technology, Jomar McDonald leads TNTP’s enterprise technology strategy, serving the needs of internal and external clients to fulfill our mission and institutional promise.

Jomar has over 20 years of experience in K-12, higher education, and civic sectors. Prior to joining TNTP, Jomar served as the Associate Vice President of Technology for Adler University, where he led technology transformation and strategy university-wide. In this role, he partnered with university stakeholders to develop a comprehensive technology strategic plan and IT and Data Governance policies that established a framework for technology decision-making and investment prioritization. Prior to this, Jomar served as the Director of Information Technology for the Frances Xavier Warde School, where he helped grow PK-8 enrollment by over 65% in three years, launched one of the first 1:1 laptop programs in the Chicago area, and led the implementation of modern enterprise systems that improved the school’s operations, finances, and parent engagement.

Jomar holds a BBA in Management Information Systems from the University of West Georgia, an MS in Information Systems from DePaul University, and an MBA from the University of Notre Dame Mendoza College of Business.
