Tina Imbriano

Tina Imbriano is a passionate educator who strives to be an advocate and role model for her students and her community. She is currently a second-year teacher at Langston Hughes Academy in New Orleans, Louisiana. In her role as Elementary School Resource and Inclusion mathematics teacher, Imbriano ensures her heterogeneous and cross-cultural students in PK through fourth grade gain access to rigorous grade level content all while adhering to statewide compliance standards in regard to the writing, publishing, and implementing of students’ Individualized Education Plans (IEPs). She strives to establish connections between school and home for the benefit of students and the greater New Orleans community, about which she cares deeply. Before becoming an educator, Imbriano earned her Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Studies from Loyola University New Orleans, graduating in May of 2021 with the distinction of cum laude.
