Ginny Johnson

VP, Southwest

As Vice President of the Southwest region, Ginny Johnson leads TNTP’s consulting work in Arizona, Arkansas, Louisiana, New Mexico, Oklahoma, and Texas, with a focus on helping educators, schools, and school systems expand access to opportunity.

Prior to this role, Ginny served as a Managing Partner in the Southwest region, spearheading the rapid growth and impact of TNTP’s Texas portfolio of projects. Throughout her tenure, Ginny partnered with clients to lead initiatives across talent, academic, and community engagement services. She has a wealth of diverse experience focusing on efforts in Tennessee, New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Texas.

Through her work across the country, she has led teams to advance district talent transformations and the development of citywide talent pipelines, to design and implement large-scale HQIM implementation initiatives, and to form innovative partnerships with community coalitions to advance the educational priorities of local communities.

Ginny received her bachelor’s degree from Rice University.
