Devon Gadow
VP, National Consulting
As Vice President of National Consulting, Devon Gadow leads the development, improvement, and delivery of TNTP’s core products and services, supporting consulting staff in executing high‑quality work aligned with the organization’s strategic priorities. She oversees systems that ensure TNTP’s approaches to instruction, educator development, and academic strategy reflect the strongest research and consistently expand opportunities for all students.
Since joining TNTP in 2016, Devon has partnered with districts, schools, and states across the country to support academic vision setting, high‑quality curriculum adoption and implementation, and teacher development and coaching.
Prior to this role, Devon served as a Partner on the National Consulting Team, providing thought leadership on research‑based instructional practices across content areas and leading internal learning that strengthened how TNTP delivered academic services. She developed and led TNTP’s national partnerships with curriculum providers and professional learning organizations to improve coherence and effectiveness in the field. Devon supported in the development of several of TNTP’s most influential publications, including The Opportunity Myth (2018) and The Opportunity Makers (2024), and has played a key role in shaping the organization’s work on instructional coherence and high‑quality instructional materials.
Prior to joining TNTP, Devon served as an Assistant Principal in the Dallas Independent School District, where she designed goal‑aligned coaching cycles, strengthened instructional rigor across content areas, and supported her school’s progression toward International Baccalaureate World School Diploma Programme candidacy. She began her career in education as a high school English teacher in the Dallas Independent School District and later served as an Effectiveness Coach with TNTP’s Fort Worth Teaching Fellows.
Devon holds a M.Ed. in Educational Leadership from Southern Methodist University and a B.S. in English and Psychology from the College of the Holy Cross, where she developed her passion for service and education. She currently lives in Fort Mill, SC, with her husband, two daughters, and her new puppy.
