Carmen is an expert in talent strategy, with over a decade of experience supporting new and aspiring teachers.

Carmen started out as a part-time Associate at TNTP in 2008, helping to launch a new Fellows program in Arizona. TNTP’s mission, to ensure effective teachers in every classroom and end educational inequity, is what got her excited to work at the organization. In 10 years at TNTP, Carmen has seen the bulk of her work focus on supporting the Teaching Fellows programs. Now, she’s leveraging this valuable experience to reimagine the teaching profession in her region.

I love how at TNTP we continue to evolve our work to better meet the needs of our students.
