Candace Jones

Program Manager, Indianapolis Teaching Fellows

Candace has served in numerous administrative support roles in her career, leading teams through short- and long-term projects. She is an expert in project management, vision execution, recruitment/onboarding, and mentoring/youth development.

Candace comes from a family of educators, describes her pre-TNTP work as “education-adjacent,” and considers one of her core values the idea that all students deserve a quality education. In summer 2023 she combined her passion for project management and education by planning and executing Pre-Service Training for her teaching fellows. Under her leadership, the team managed to balance the intensity of training with opportunities for fun and relationship-building. The result was an energized and committed group of new teachers.

We want our teachers to be dedicated to their students for the long haul, and it excites me that TNTP is committed to offering them as many resources as we can to make that happen.
