Aubrey P. Brown Jr.

Leadership Coach

Aubrey P. Brown Jr. is an expert at growing new and aspiring school leaders, supporting and developing team leadership skills, and supporting the development of high-impact coaching models.

Before joining TNTP, Aubrey spent 18 years in the public school system as a teacher and leader focusing on transformation and growth. In his many roles, Aubrey examined how the systems we build, the ways we choose to communicate, and the practices we make habits impact how others achieve. Over the past two years he has helped spearhead TNTP’s partnership with Providence Public Schools to recruit and train new school leaders. Over the course of the project Aubrey has developed relationships with two cohorts of aspiring school leaders, and every cohort member has successfully completed the program and met the rigorous evaluation requirements.

My commitment to ensuring all children have access to opportunity and power sent me in search of an opportunity to coach and support district and school leaders, with an organization whose values were at the center of their work.
