She also served as an instructional coach in Eastern North Carolina, supporting K–2 teachers in learning and implementing best practices in early literacy. As the Head of Program for Teach For Cambodia, she recruited and trained new teacher fellows in ESL and STEM education. Additionally, Amy Rae has been an instructional coach at a K–8 dual-immersion school, going back into the classroom to teach second through fourth grade ELA to students in the Spanish immersion track. She has a master’s degree in management and has done years of project management work.
I am excited about TNTP building more coherence into our work for multilingual learners. Rather than seeing them as separate, we’re recognizing that these students are in all of our schools and serving them well serves everyone well.
