What You’ll Learn

Attendees will gain practical strategies, tools, and concrete examples they can bring back to their districts to strengthen how they recruit, support, and retain educators.

Designed for district and school leaders, HR and Talent teams, and other stakeholders that support educators in Texas, this free event offers a full day of workshops, collaborative learning, as well as a panel of state leaders.

In addition to sessions led by TNTP, participants will hear from districts and other innovative organizations that will share best practices, lessons learned, and insights to inform House Bill 2 implementation. The convening will highlight why a coherent workforce strategy matters; districts are far more successful in meeting House Bill 2’s expectations when recruitment, support, and retention operate as a connected system.

Participants will leave with clearer insights and actionable resources on how coherent, intentional system design can reduce the number of uncertified teachers and build stronger pipelines of effective certified teachers.

Breakfast and lunch will be provided.
