Zay CollierVP, Technology
Zay provides direction and strategy on the design and implementation of TNTP’s technology services, including software development, technology consulting and internal technology operations. He also works with TNTP’s client services team to develop tech-based solutions for our partners to improve their systems and capabilities through data analysis.
Zay has 30 years of experience leading projects and nurturing start-ups in the technology industry. Prior to joining TNTP, he worked at Autodesk, Accenture, Freescale, Intel, and the Department of the Navy. Zay also raised $1.5 million for his STEM nonprofit, Phoenix Arising, and has worked with Cornell University, The University of Washington and Morgan State University through a National Science Foundation-funded effort to reform their engineering programs. As one of TNTP’s first Bridge Fellows, he designed a program model for students of color to explore rewarding technology careers by learning in-demand technical skills and interning at local tech companies.
Zay studied electrical engineering as an undergraduate at Cornell University.
