In 2011, TNTP’s 18 Teaching Fellows programs drew more than 33,000 applicants nationwide and accepted just 9 percent, comparable in selectivity to top U.S. universities.
Approved to train and certify new teachers in seven states and D.C., TNTP Academy prepares exceptionally effective teachers through classroom-centered training, led by master educators. Research shows that TNTP Academy-trained teachers in Louisiana outperform even experienced teachers in raising student achievement in several core subjects.
