How to Apply

Step I: Submit your online application by February 3, 2012.

To get started, complete the online application, including basic background information and responses to three essay questions. Applicants who are selected to advance in the process will be notified within 2-3 weeks of their submission.

Step II: Submit videotaped teaching sample and letters of recommendation.

Selected applicants will be asked to submit a 20-minute teaching video and letters of recommendation from two references (one of which should be a current principal). Guidelines on how to create and upload the videos will be provided.

Step III: In-person interview for finalists.

A small group of finalists will be invited to an in-person interview event with a panel of judges. The interviews will take place in New York City in mid-March 2012. TNTP will cover travel costs and associated expenses.
