Hiring Process

Our incredibly talented people push us forward in new ways every day. They are the secret to our success. Our rigorous selection process is aligned with the high bar we hold for our staff. It helps us determine if you’re the right fit for TNTP and you determine if TNTP is the right fit for you. As a candidate, here’s what you can expect:

Step 1: Application Review

We review your resume and cover letter thoroughly to determine whether your qualifications are a strong match. We will contact you only if you are invited to advance in the selection process.

Step 2: Hiring Exercise

If you are invited to advance in the selection process you will likely be asked to complete a written hiring exercise (or in some cases, to submit a work sample). This helps us assess if you have what it takes to succeed in the position and gives you a realistic sense of what your day-to-day responsibilities will be. Please note, only a small percentage of applicants are invited to this step. Click here to download a sample exercise.

Step 3: Interviews

If you are invited to move forward after completing the hiring exercise, you can expect to participate in several phone interviews. Finalists will meet with someone from TNTP in person before receiving an offer.

Step 4: References

Before extending an offer, TNTP will request and contact professional references, including a direct supervisor.

These steps represent a typical process, but your experience may vary. Our hiring teams thoughtfully design each hiring process to be as efficient as possible given the specific circumstances of the vacancy.
