Ana Menezes

Ana Menezes oversees the strategy and implementation of TNTP’s new teacher training (Teaching Fellows) and teacher certification programs (TNTP Academy).

Previously, as a Partner for this group, Ana oversaw Teaching Fellows contracts in Louisiana, Indianapolis, Philadelphia, and Denver. She worked with district and charter school clients and managed site-based staff to ensure high-quality program results. Ana joined TNTP as the Site Manager for TNTP's teachNOLA program, where she recruited and trained 200 talented teachers for New Orleans public schools.

Ana began her career in urban education as a Teach For America corps member and elementary teacher in New York City. She holds a MA in Education Policy from Stanford University and a BA in Political Science from Boston College. In 2011, Ana was profiled in Education Week as "one of 16 young people who are going to transform education over the next decade."
